Lois came very close to beating Jim Gerlach (Republican incumbent) in her last campaign, and we believe with a strong Get Out the Vote Effort - she will easily win in the fall. The Gerlach camp is worried (as are Republicans in Congress). Washington is watching this race very closely. It is one of the major battle-grounds in the '06 election year, as this is one of the races that will give Democrats a chance to win back control of Congress. The Gerlach campaign has resorted to running lots of negative ads against Lois - but she's fighting back. PLEASE come out and support Lois in the Primaries.
